TAO & dTAO Staking

As of November 2025, Talisman underwent a major upgrade that upgrades dTAO alpha positions to fully tradable and transferable tokens, no longer tucked under the TAO bar.

It now allows all dTAO stakers to send and receive their dTAO on any given subnet between addresses without needing to unstake, re-stake, and incur slippage in the process!

Your dTAO tokens are now fully visible at the account level from the Portfolio page. To view token details, simply click into the token. Here you can now see full timeframe-adjustable price charts for each subnet token, the details of your staked position, and a new toolbar that allows you to send, add stake, and unstake your alpha tokens.

Viewing TAO and staked TAO on root is just as easy as before. Click into TAO to see available TAO, and how much is staked on root, and with which validator.

Additionally, from the Staking section of the Talisman Portal you can also see your current staked positions for TAO and dTAO on root and subnets, along with the amount of all-time staking rewards.

To see this, from the main Portfolio page, simply go to Staking → Positions.
