How to stake on dTAO Subnets

The process for staking dTAO on subnets, and TAO on root, are very similar. For dTAO you also need to choose a subnet, and will receive alpha tokens for each respective subnet you stake to.

  1. From the wallet, choose your preferred Bittensor account, hover over TAO or any existing dTAO position, and choose ‘Stake’.

  2. If you’re staking from TAO, select Subnet dTAO as the staking type.

  3. If you’re staking from an existing dTAO position, we’ll take you straight to the dTAO staking window.

  4. Choose the amount you wish to stake, select your Subnet of choice, and select your Validator of choice.

You can view all your balances and positions from the main Portfolio page by either clicking on TAO for root staking, or individual dTAO positions.
