Staking on Root
Talisman allows Bittensor users to easily stake their TAO either via the traditional method of staking TAO on root , or staking dTAO on specific subnets. Both staking options simply involve acquiring TAO, and choosing the staking option you prefer.
To stake TAO on root:
From the wallet, choose your preferred Bittensor account, hover over TAO or any existing dTAO position, and choose ‘Stake’.
Choose ‘Root Staking’ as the staking type.
Choose the amount you wish to stake, and your Validator of choice.
The ‘Stake’ and ‘Unstake’ buttons are also available from each individual token toolbar. Choosing ‘Stake’ from a given dTAO token toolbar will automatically bring you into the option for dTAO Staking.
Note: You can also switch Validators at any time without the need to unstake and re-stake.
