Conviction Lock

A Conviction Lock lets you lock subnet tokens to a hotkey to signal long-term commitment to a subnet. Conviction is determined by how much you lock and how long you keep it locked. Enough conviction behind a hotkey can earn it the right to run the subnet.

Lock Types

  • Perpetual: Locked indefinitely. Conviction keeps building.

  • Decaying: Winds down over time. Conviction fades.
